This Mother’s Day, Corwin honoured one of those values with a heartfelt tradition that began with his father, former real estate professional Keith Kwan.

Every year, Keith would surprise mothers in the community with flowers on Mother’s Day—a simple but powerful gesture that left a lasting impression. Now, Corwin is proud to carry the tradition forward.

This year, Corwin brought fresh flowers to diners at My Cucina, a cozy Italian restaurant nestled in North Vancouver. With a bouquet in hand and a warm smile, he approached each table where mothers were seated and offered them flowers as a thank-you for everything they do.

“The reactions were priceless,” Corwin shared. “There were smiles, a few tears, and a lot of gratitude. Most of all, it created a moment—something small but meaningful.”

One particularly touching encounter stood out. Corwin met two women enjoying a quiet dinner together. They told him they were new mothers to an eight-month-old baby, and had arranged for a friend to babysit so they could celebrate their very first Mother’s Day.

“I was really moved by that,” Corwin said. “It reminded me that this day means something different to everyone—but it means a lot. And we don’t always take the time to acknowledge it.”

Corwin’s thoughtful gesture made a busy holiday evening feel personal and warm, both for the mothers receiving flowers and the staff at the restaurant who witnessed the act of kindness.
