LONDON, ON––Sutton real estate professional, Kim Mullan, of Sutton Group Select Realty Inc., in London Ontario is once again leading with heart–this time as the title sponsor of UPwithART. This powerful fundraiser merges creativity with compassion to support the Unity Project and Museum London. The UpWithArt initiative has already raised over $100,000 for the relief of homelessness before the auction has even been tallied.

Running online from May 1-10, the silent auction features over 50 pieces of donated artwork and unique experiences from artists across the region. The event culminates in an energetic in-person celebration at Museum London on May 10, with food, drinks, hands-on creative activities, and live performances by local artists. As the event tagline goes, it’s a chance to “make an art of doing your part.”

All proceeds benefit the Unity Project for Relief of Homelessness, which offers emergency shelter and supportive housing to some of the city’s most vulnerable residents. The event also raises funds to help Museum London, a non-profit institution, keep arts, history, and culture accessible to all members of the community.

Kim has been a dedicated supporter of this event for many years, and when the title sponsorship became available this year, she proudly stepped up to take on the leading role. “So many families I know—including my own—have been touched by housing instability, addiction, or mental health challenges,” Kim says. “We all deserve to live in a place that offers compassion and real support.”

Her support also extends to Regional HIV/AIDS Connection (RHAC), an organization working to provide judgement-free support for people living with, or at risk of, HIV/AIDS, hepatitis C, and related health issues. Kim has helped amplify RHAC’s work through events in collaboration with Red Scarf, including the ‘Taste for Life’ program where local restaurants donate a portion of their proceeds for a day to support RHAC’s vital programming.

RHAC plays a critical role in supporting London’s LGBTQ+ community, newcomers, and those affected by poverty or substance use. Kim stood in support of RHAC’s mission to protect the health and dignity of every individual, especially those too often left out of mainstream care.

“People need community,” Kim says. “They need to feel welcome. Organizations like RHAC and the Unity Project are doing the hard work of making sure no one is left behind—and they deserve our support.”

Whether she’s backing harm-reduction services, sponsoring an art fundraiser, or supporting women’s safety through the London Abused Women’s Centre, Kim is a powerful example of what it means to be a real estate professional who shows up for her community–not just with words, but with action. We’re proud to be surrounded by a network of Sutton real estate professionals who are deeply committed to bettering the communities where they live and work.
