Daniel remains at the forefront as real estate regulations evolve, helping shape new policies, and as technologies emerge, Daniel keeps learning. He balances nearly two decades of experience by staying on top of current trends, ensuring his clients accomplish their goals. While working with the Sutton Group – Seafair Realty, based in Richmond, BC.It’s this never-stop-learning approach that drives Daniel’s passion for education. Teaching is a dream job for Daniel. He relishes the responsibility of educating the new generation of professionals. Daniel has taught at Langara College since 2016 and is now the Program Head for the Professional Real Estate diploma program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. There, he works to maintain high standards for his profession by establishing a modern and adaptive curriculum. He is also a member of the Education Committee at the Vancouver Heritage Foundation. Additionally, Daniel also sits on the board of the British Columbia Real Estate Association (BCREA).Daniel John’s work extends beyond the classroom and into the boardroom, where he was a Past Chair of Greater Vancouver REALTORS (GVR). During his time there, he lead the team in working on solutions to increase housing supply and develop rules to support buyers and sellers in a dynamic market. Before GVR, he spent eight years on the board of the Real Estate Institute of British Columbia, where he served as President from 2018 to 2019.Daniel holds his professional R.I. designation from the Real Estate Institute of British Columbia and carries an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. His education includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from BCIT, a Diploma of Technology in Marketing Management specializing in Commercial Real Estate, and Real Estate Licensing from UBC Sauder School of Business.Daniel has volunteered with organizations such as the Richmond School District, Steveston Community Centre, and the REBGV Blanket Drive. In his spare time, Daniel enjoys staying active and is an avid runner.
